I was lucky enough to find yoga in my teens and have been practicing for 20 years. I’m still best friends with the girl (now woman!) who brought me to my first Hot Yoga class. I attended Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Fall 2011 and am certified in Inferno Hot Pilates Levels 1, 2 and 3 as well as Power Yoga. I am honored to co-lead teacher trainings here at YO BK. I love working with new teachers and am very proud of the work we do at the studios. Over the years, I’ve practiced for physical health and mental wellbeing. As a mom to a 9 year-old, my practice is my sacred time. The variety of Bikram, Power Yoga and Hot Pilates will give you everything you need in one amazing community. Our students have met friends and even significant others in class! The studios introduced me to my best friends, my business partner in Miami and my husband, who designed and built the studios. I’m a native New Yorker and have lived in Rome, Beijing, Bangkok, Miami and Texas. I hold firm that New York is the best place in the world and if you don’t love it, you should leave.       <image:caption>Amanda and Camille hail from YO BK, a yoga and pilates studio with locations in Brooklyn, NYC and Miami, Florida. Their teaching provides a modern application to the ancient teachings of yoga. Expect sweaty, flowing Vinyasa practices, Restorative and Yin, Breathwork, Meditation and spicy HIIT Pilates classes! Camille Sallette (E-RYT 200 hours) is the general manager of YO BK's New York studios. She began teaching in 2014 after becoming certified in Bikram (Traditional Hot Yoga) and Vinyasa, and has since studied with many senior teachers across Bikram, Iyengar, Power Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative modalities. She is also Inferno Hot Pilates certified via Gabi Walters, and appreciates how low impact HIIT has supported her asana practice. She loves movements that blend balance and strength, creating a powerful connection between body and mind.  Amanda Krol (RYT 200 hours) is a long-time teacher on and off the mat. She has served NYC schools as an educator since 2009. A fellow teacher invited her to an Inferno Hot Pilates class in 2017. The high intensity and low impact workout created physical and mental results she had always strived for. She trained in IHP Levels 1 and 2 with Gabi Walters and joined YO BK in 2019. During the pandemic, Amanda began to explore meditation and yoga at a deeper level. In 2022, she completed her 200 hour Power Vinyasa Teacher Training at YO BK and a 95 hour program for youth with Yoga Ed. Amanda loves leading students through challenging classes that facilitate a more positive mindset.</image:caption>

In 2015 he moved to Miami and began to absorb new knowledge in this part of the world in order to increase the connection with his personal practice. He became certified RYT 200 and brought his great background of more than 10 years of teaching and helping students and yogis to improve their practice from within. Currently, Johan, using his vast and unique experience over the years, is now focused on teaching two main types of classes, Power Vinyasa Yoga and Slow flow. These two techniques are completely different in their rhythm and benefits but at the same time, they are connected in that they generate a comprehensive practice focusing on both strength and the mind-body connection. What began as rehabilitation quickly became an essential practice—Pilates’ therapeutic precision and strength-based foundation allowed her to fully support an active, sustainable career in yoga and fitness. Patricia received her first Mat certification through the Equinox Pilates Institute and trained for Mat and the Full Apparatus program at Erika Bloom Pilates, both in New York City. She has been teaching the Pilates Method at Equinox and teaching/creating Mat Pilates programs for studios since. She also has multiple trainings in Barre, Sculpt, Yoga, HIIT, Anatomy and Meditation. Patricia has been leading sold out Pilates Mat Teacher Trainings since 2020 both in virtual and in person formats in studios in New York City, Miami, Detroit, Mexico City, Long Island and Rochester and has trained over 400 Pilates Mat instructors that teach at some of the world’s best studios and gyms including Peloton, Equinox, Hot Bones, YoBK and Exhale studios. She has worked with many private and corporate clients for years at a time- most of Patricia’s private clients never stop seeing her and her classes are constantly sold out. In 2011, she completed the Conquering Lion Teacher Training program, founded by master teacher Kelly Morris.
