POWER VINYASA Teacher Training

April 27 - July 22, 2026 Online + Catskills, NY Retreat

with Sheri Celentano, Patricia Pinto and Kate Durand

It’s a retreat, it’s a yoga teacher training, it’s a once in a lifetime experience!

We're thrilled to offer this Hybrid Teacher Training, bringing together decades of knowledge and study. This training consists of 2 months of online learning, followed by a 9 day intensive at Akera Retreat Center in the New York Catskills. This is a unique opportunity to get off the grid and into the study, practice and teaching of yoga while being full cared for. This training is co-led by our most experienced instructors from New York and Miami: Sheri Celentano, Patricia Pinto and Kate Durand.

Between sessions you’ll be fueled by fresh, seasonal meals prepared by a gourmet chef, explore over 123 acres of forest and countryside and take advantage of plush on-side amenities: cold plunge, cedar hot tub, sauna and more! The ability to unwind and be in nature will make this training truly nourishing!

YO BK is a 200 Hour Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance. Upon obtaining your certificate, you can apply as a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance.

THE YO BK DIFFERENCE

Since our inception as a studio, our goal has been to make people happier, healthier and more confident through the practice of yoga and pilates. This 200 hour Teacher Training continues our mission with YOU as a leader. Our promise to you is personalized coaching and a creative, detailed curriculum to empower you to teach Power Vinyasa Yoga. Whether you plan on teaching or not, you will leave this program empowered in all aspects of your life. We guarantee fun and challenge, sweat and laughter, lifelong friendships and a deeper connection to your purpose.

Teacher training is designed to give you a solid foundation of yoga and mindfulness practices that will inspire you and your future students. We’re told that we keep it simple, authentic and inspirational, while you develop skills that will elevate you and enhance your confidence while holding space for others.

We keep our trainings intentionally small so we can support your teaching journey before, during and after Teacher Training. During training, students receive group and one-on-one mentorship. After training, our internship and apprenticeship programs are available to further support our trainees’ growth and development. Many of our graduates have created successful teaching careers for themselves! Your success is our top priority.
