Our Pilates Certification delves into the physical and mental aspects of Pilates, covering the techniques, principles and safety aspects integral to a Mat Pilates practice. As a certified Pilates instructor, you will confidently help students improve body alignment, core strength, muscle control, flexibility, balance and mindfulness. This training is rooted in Classical Pilates and refined for a Contemporary audience.

Patricia Pinto
Teaching yoga since 2008, Patricia found Pilates during her recovery from a hamstring injury that led to sciatica. What began as rehabilitation quickly became an essential practice—Pilates’ therapeutic precision and strength-based foundation allowed her to fully support an active, sustainable career in yoga and fitness.
Patricia received her first Mat certification through the Equinox Pilates Institute and trained for Mat and the Full Apparatus program at Erika Bloom Pilates, both in New York City. She has been teaching the Pilates Method at Equinox and teaching/creating Mat Pilates programs for studios since. She also has multiple trainings in Barre, Sculpt, Yoga, HIIT, Anatomy and Meditation.
Patricia has been leading sold out Pilates Mat Teacher Trainings since 2020 both in virtual and in person formats in studios in New York City, Miami, Detroit, Mexico City, Long Island and Rochester and has trained over 400 Pilates Mat instructors that teach at some of the world’s best studios and gyms including Peloton, Equinox, Hot Bones, YoBK and Exhale studios. She has worked with many private and corporate clients for years at a time- most of Patricia’s private clients never stop seeing her and her classes are constantly sold out. She has a professional yet casual and welcoming demeanor and loves to share her passion of strength and alignment.
